According to Barnes Cities Index, Madrid was ranked the third in the list of the cities in terms of investments in luxury properties. Within the last year, the Spanish capital jumped from the 10th place to the TOP 3. The rating is based on the financial factors and other important aspects that influence the quality of life, for example, the economic situation in the city as well as its political situation, development of the transport infrastructure, taxes healthcare and education services and etc.This year, Madrid became the third following only Porto and Lisbon. It is said that the active Golden Visa policy held in Portugal and Spain makes these three cities extremely attractive for foreign investors. Madrid is followed by Montreal, Miami, London and Geneva.
